Yeah, if you look at the basic dumb-bell shape for the body and head, the shape of the eyes, the black around the neck and head, and the shape of the "bill" that's his mouth (the corners of it help quite a bit).
Having that cowling in the middle of the neck like that kinda makes it look a little like a mallard's stripe, too.
