Nice drawing,I kinda liked the Happy Harmonies version of Bosko better than the Looney Tunes one because his African American boy voice and his redesign to a little black Boy after two cartoons is what made him more likable and charming than ever

What I love most is that this is the authentic 1930's Bosko, not the toned-down TTA one.

Sad little factoid:
Some people familiar with this cartoon today often get the impression that Bosko is some kind of highly stylized monkey. That's what I thought when I first saw this cartoons. Bosko and Honey were orriginally meant to be caractures of black people in the early 30's. It wasn't so much a rasist jab at the time. It was more of an attempt to depict a certain people in a semi-possitive light but it was still bad steriotyping due to extreme ignorance. It's definitely a good thing that this style is never used on black people anymore. Jesse Jackson's head would probably explode.

I thought Bosko was a monkey too since most LT characters are animals, especially Bugs Bunny. But at the time I finally realized what Bosko isn't what I think he is, CN and Nickelodeon don't show the shorts anymore. Coincidence?

I don't like political correctness anymore than any other free-speach purist. The biggest problem with raw honesty is that the people who speak up are often too worried about getting backlash from other people. Just look at all the inconsistancies in the FCC. When the South Park movie was being made, it was on the verge of getting a higher rating than just R. Matt and Trey decided to replace some vulgar words with ones that they thought were more vulgar and the FCC saw no problem with it.
In the US, you look at all the nudity and sex that gets censored for fear of backlash and then you look at all the violence that doesn't leave much of a blip on the radar. And it's violence that does the real damage, not gratuitous nudity or consentual sex.

Bosko's style is what's known a Blackface Caricature. The basic idea behind it was to simply make African-Americans look like clowns so they would be laughed at and never taken seriously as citizens in the US. The caricature was used heavily in the top 11 censored cartoons and was even used by Akira Toriyama in his DB series.
It's not so much illegal to use it nowadays, it's simply just taboo because of growing civil unrest towards ethnicity depictions in post-war America.
