Oh, but pardon my manners, diary. I know it's been a while, but I figured you were tired of hearing about all those... you know, nighttime shenanigans (You're a smart diary, interpret that as you will~).

Fortunately for you, something happened just yesterday which has proven worth writing about. You see, it snowed! ...In Olive Valley! Hint: that doesn't happen often.

You may call me silly or childish, but I am just so excited that the snow has stayed overnight! It's a winter wonderland outside, and for once I have something to do besides look pretty and bring home new friends! I've been reading some of Cross's books on winter activities, and I decided to start with some simple snow angels today. I assume the exercise was intended for people with legs, but I found better results using my tail. After all, the best sort of angel is a wide one~

Of course, Lani has adopted the role of naysayer, but I shan't let that stop me from enjoying this weather! Carrie quite agrees that everything looks beautiful with this fresh coat of snow, and she has even agreed to join me later in some winter activities! I can hardly wait!~

The only issue I see is how dreadfully cold all the snow has made our valley, but I'm sure the local Fire Lord wouldn't mind me warming my tail by his lava lake every so often. If I make sure to do that, everything should be just fine!
