Poor Linda...
I guess we got a little too excited about all this snow, because Linda spent all of yesterday rolling around in it, and now she's sicker than a sewer rat with gangrene.
Well, maybe not that sick...

Using some leftover cocoa beans, I made her some warm things to drink. I remember the recipe from mother, and I'm grateful for that. I think some nice warm drinks are what we all need right now, especially since it hasn't stopped snowing for three days now. I'm finding it a little chilly in my room thanks to my open windows, but at least I have vines to block the snow. I won't be surprised if Linda replaces her iron bars with proper glass once she's feeling better. I asked Lani if she'd switch rooms with Linda until she got better, but she doesn't seem to like that idea. Something about sleeping in Linda's bed freaks her out, I guess. I don't really blame her because germs, but still... I'd swap her if my room was any warmer.

Oh well~ I'm sure she'll be better soon! In the meantime, I'm not going to let this stop me from getting outside myself. There are so many things I want to do before this snow melts. I just hope Lani has a change of heart and decides to join me!
