As if she needed an excuse.This is a little bit early, but I'm very eager to have this year over and done with, so I'm celebrating the new year ahead of schedule! Not to mention, a few people were asking how the Burnetts spend the holiday season, and while I can't speak for the rest of them, Jackie tends to have a hell of a time around New Years (the rest of her family are probably still sleeping off their Christmas binges). It's rare that she'll dress up so fancy, but if it gets her into parties in penthouse apartments with giant New Year cakes, then it's well worth the effort~

Jackie's a party animal when she's not being socially awkward~

Wait, socially awkward? Can't tell if you're being facetious given she's listed as an extrovert, one isn't typically both those things and there was that picture of her singing in front of a crowd. Though we've only ever seen her interact directly with her family minus Jake, Emily, Evelyn and that rather odd Fanny character, most of said interactions are Jamie and any picture with both her and April, she seems nervous in some way. Would say friends and family, but don't think those last two non-family members really count.

Trust me, socially awkward extroverts exist. She's very good in crowds or at parties, and she's not afraid to speak/sing her mind, but she has difficulty making close and lasting relationships, even in a casual group setting.

(Completely sincere) Fascinating, always assumed it those two were pretty much incompatible. Never would have thought this would be part of her character from looking at the other pictures.
I wonder if an example of this social ineptitude is her bullying of Jamie? Perhaps such actions are intended as a bizarre display of affection, continued because she's unaware of them causing him to hate her? Actually come to think of it, the only character we've seen her interact with who she isn't awkward around or vice versa is Emily.

That sounds about right. You could say she's really, really bad at expressing affection. She gets along well with Emily because everyone gets along well with Emily because Emily is wonderful.

Good to see the copycat-possessing lagomorph again. Somehow, she's always cute no matter her mood but her slightly inebriated expression is even moreso than usual.
So the others are still recovering from Christmas while Jackie's out in what's effectively an all-you-can-eat again? Either she intentionally held off for the new year or she's accustomed to massive binges in relatively quick succession. Given that she's fat by default, I'd guess it's the latter.

Jackie goes hard. Sure, you could stuff more food into Jamie, and April and Jake love their food just as much, but Jackie's young and doesn't feel like taking it easy, so she binges as frequently as she wants~
