Description
In the wait for Book 2 I wanted to paint some ideas inspired by the concept art released.Korra and Chief Unaloq travel deep into the South Pole where they come across the Spirit Storm. They explore and uncover the phenomenon.
Korra's cloak is specially made by Unalaq's staff. He's royalty so I'm sure he can give Korra a special coat!XD
I got lazy with the background...I felt if I kept painting I would either overdo it or end up looking at it too much that I wouldn't want to upload it here.

If it were me, I normally would feel a bit insulted that they would use my fanart, especially if without my permission...but...I don't know... a part of me would feel honored because I'm a fan of this awesome series and I'm dying for Book 2 to come out...

Yeah there's some issues about it. I saw the video scrolling down on tumblr, and I'm kind of in the same as your hypothetical situation. On one hand I feel a bit neglected because I wasn't alerted by the videomaker (and I'm assuming she hasn't contacted the other artist artworks she has used in the other videos), so where would that put me? Someone being too nit picky? Or someone wanting at least to be asked for use of the image?

She is in the South Pole. The cold tends to make you look paler than you would in the summer.

Yeah, my closest uncles live in Sydney as well. One of them is a pharmacist who helped pay for my college tuition fee and the other one is a dentist who pulled out my wisdom teeth the day after I met you at the mall.
You said that your uncle is like Bumi? Which Bumi? The king or Tenzin's crazy older brother? LOL That would be fun to have an eccentric uncle.

I think I have a few uncles like that, too, especially whenever there's a wedding or a party in the family...and what do you know? One of my dad's younger brother is getting married in two weeks...his 3rd marriage. Well, you know what they say: Third times the charm! LOL
