A request by irl friendSo you know how the Doctor can regenerate instead of dying? Well this array is a little project to replicate that little bit of scientifical awesomeness.
So in keeping with my usual methods, this Array is a relatively simple, with easily explained symbols. The black and white circles around the outside are nodes to remove and replace the bio energy used in the regeneration, here symbolized by a symbol for spirit or life energy. The life energy symbol is in the array twice, accompanied by either the sun or the moon, symbolizing the end of one life (the beginning of the regeneration) and the start of a new one (the end of the regeneration). Also in the array, is the symbols for life and death, properly matching the two circles with the life energy symbols.

I'm not too familiar with Doctor Who, but does the regeneration produce a new body and personality from the previous incarnation?

Yeah...its best explained by the 10th Doctor played by David Tennant: "...even if I change, it feels like dying. Everything I am dies. Some new man goes sauntering away... and I'm dead."
It basically dying, and being replaced by a new person, who's watched all of your life on a video inside their head.

Side Note: Bio-Energy (not Artron Energy, commonly confused)
Also, one of the side effects of regeneration is a 12 hour period of Bio-Energy build up, which if used by skilled Time Lords, can regrow limbs or even partially regenerate their body.
