A little character portrait. Experimented with textures, among other things.And yes, there is a reason for the two people down there. If I were to elaborate further though, I would have to prattle, and you wouldn't want me to do that. ;]

I applaude you for adding some texture. Personally I am a big fan of paintings and such with texture. I love your detail and use of intense color (subject matter isn't too shabby either ~.^)

It is beautiful and I'm sure we would all enjoy reading about those caraters, even (or specially) if it were something short...I look at the picture in a diferent way if I know what it's about, but maybe that's exactly what you're not looking for.
