Description
A long awaited Furcadia Pixel Art Tutorial--How to draw / pixel / paint your remappable portrait from Photoshop to Furcadia's Fox Editor! If you're looking to create your own pixel art, feel free to replace the programs such as FSH Editor [a proprietary program by Dragon's Eye Productions for their video game Furcadia] with Photoshop. You can still get all of your pixel-y goodness when resizing in Photoshop as well.
Please enjoy and I would LOVE feed-back on if this actually helps anyone. xD
YOU MAY NOT STEAL THIS AS YOUR OWN WORK! Thanks.

Love this tutorial! Going to try it out. Quick question. In step two when you talk about the brightness (80% brightness, ect..), what exactly are you referring too?

In many programs you should be able to find their variant of a color slider. What I'm talking about particularly is the HSB, or Hue, Saturation and Brightness. So, on your HSB slider, 80 would be the number next to the B at that step.

Does it "naturally" go pixelly when you resize it?

Yes! When you resize the image, and then import it into the FOX editor, it will adjust itself to pixels. This does not happen naturally just when resizing in Photoshop, however.
For an alternative method, you could resize in Photoshop, then go to Save For Web > Set it up as a GIF, and say use a maximum of 8 - 9 colors.
Happy pixeling!
