FULL VIEW- long image!It's what you've all been waiting for.
Took a while to do, but here it is. I use Jasc Paint Shop Pro- you can do this in photoshop, I know. As far as other programs, I have no idea, so I can't really say. As long as you have have a pencil took and colors, you should be fine, though. [you can also do this in MS paint, but it'll take around 6 hours instead of 2-3, and you won't have lavers/transparency locking]

This is gonna sound stupid but, I never thought about resizing a sketch and tracing the base to make pixel art... I guess it's cause I've only used MS Paint for pixel stuff. Great tutorial, makes me wanna try pixel art again one of these days!

It may, I have no idea. So long as you have a plain pencil/pixel brush it should work in any program.

I just want to know, but how would you resize something in Adobe PhotoShop CS5? Or do I need to ask someone else?

I am not sure about CS5, but I think you go to "image --> Image size"
