Did you save it as a .psd file? If that fails, go to file->save for web-> and then save it as a .gif

On your userpage (or whatever you'd call it), next to your icon there should be a thing that says "edit"

I use .png, but I don't know if ever program can save .png files as transparent. I use .gif too.

that's the tutorial i used, but if it's not clear enough, i can make one
i animate in photoshop

Lol okay, so now I'm about to sound sooo stupid (: But been trying for a few hours to make my photoshop reduce the size (kb's) of my avatar, but it just won't do it D: it's 34 kb, got any tips on how to get it down to 15? .. (it's already 50x50)

Save it as a .png maybe?
The .psd files are usually huuuuge
Make sure you keep the original .psd too though

I think any program with layers and use of a pencil tool equivalent would work
You could probably even use MS Paint. I just don't know how to make things transparent in that :c
