Description
Starlings are small to medium-sized passerine birds in the family Sturnidae.Once a common bird of European deciduous woodlands the Common Starling was introduced into Australia in the late 1850s through to 1870.

This is really a beautiful bird, reminds me of the one that attacked this dog in the park yesterday, somehow. The simple background let's you focus on the bird easily. It is really a nice shot, it looks as if he just started to fly high into the sky ^.^

Thanks mate! They are beautiful and apparently quite aggressive so it could well be the same type of bird you saw... They imitate the calls of other birds too... Generally considered as a pest!

Hm, that sounds quite like that kind of bird. I did not stop attacking this poor dog, it always came back and at the end the dog just ran away from it. And it made all this different noises while it followed the dog ^^"
