Maple

Parents: Mudbriar and Moondancer
Species: Unicorn/Female
Build: Short, flat not really thin but not curvy either
Special talent: Science? Botany?(dendrology probably) Not sure yet
Occupation: Student at Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns
Nickname(s): May-may, Mapes

Personality/Background:
Objective, logical, easily annoyed and socially awkward, Maple is a strict, stern and grumpy know-it-all mare. Maple isn't the most attractive, good-looking nor easygoing and enthusiastic pony around, and she is indeed well aware of that and extremely self conscious about it. She has a lot of anxiety issues and is completely awkward and uncomfortable around ponies, specially strangers. Whenever someone politely tries to greet her Mapes panics on the inside, and often appears to be rude or ignorant.
Eventually, the other students started avoiding her, not all just because she is a klutz, but due to the fact she thinks she needs to compensate her lack of appeal and enthusiasm with inteligence and good grades; she becomes a workaholic and is always overly obssessive about her studies, spending most of the time around books and lacking a lot of empathy and social interaction. In the end, she happened to mold this sort of insensitive, cold and serious shell around herself which makes her look like a not so approachable pony.

- Maple has a bad habit of overworking herself, skipping meals and hours of sleep for the sake of her perfect grades and will often study to the point of collapse.
