A series for a digital drawing/painting class I'm currently in. Essentially it was supposed to be a cultural reference thats supposed to be significant to me, in this case, my interest in Science Fiction. Depicting several sci-fi stereotypes; the hero, the space chick, robot, ship, and alien/monster. As each piece is depicting a different era of science fiction entertainment, it progresses to how i see sci-fi now, and my interest in it...Related content

Different ages of sci:
50s: Astronaut themed, the hero is very basic, the damsel is often a hostage, aliens look very generic, robots look simplistic beyond believe, and ships are simply space rockets.
80s: Action themed, wild hero, damsel that fights back, aliens look pretty creepy, robots look bulky, and ships are quite complex.
10s: Science themed, hero and damsel switch places, aliens wear armor, robots are sleek, and ships look sleek as well.

Tell me if I am correct or not. First picture is 40s/50s/60s, second picture is 70s/80 and the last one is 90s/ 00s/10s.

dont forget about the stereotypical sci-fi gun, and how that has changed over the years too. this is a great picture, especially that retro one on the left side xD

Oh definitely, you can see it go from the "ray-gun", to more of a laser, and back to more conventional "bullet" style guns of most sci-fi today. And thanks, i think i had the most fun with that over the other 2
