Description
Aina is a Aquamaiden from the Eastern Hellia Oceans. She traveled with her older sister to trade with Hellians in the Eastern Hellia Kingdom. As exiles from their own tribe, they only had each other to depend upon. Excellent at working with their hands, many of the products they sold were whatever they found in the ocean and they would try to find a way to make something out of it to sell. Their first amphibious sales stand was the launch of their traveling peddler life, Aina would search for materials and even stumble upon treasure while her older sister would sell at the stand. All of the money they saved up was to one day buy a ticket into the Eastern Hellia's Frontier in Matera. The Eastern Hellia Kingdom was making advances on the moon, colonizing it to a the first forward launch point for invading the world. In fact, the Eastern Hellians have already terraformed enough of the moon to allow for all forms of Hellian life to live there, including an artificial ocean. Aina and her dreamed of swimming up in the stars and bringing back to sell the things they've seen there. However, one fateful day, Aina's sister was murdered and the Hellians destroyed their stall and took all of their money. Aina terrified, ran and eventually washed up to the shores of Southern Hellia where she took refuge in a small village that was later burned down by Hellians lead by Dark Mystic Hayato Morashima who was putting down an uprising against the Overlord to gain his favor. As a bonus, Aina ended up getting captured and noticing that Aina's a foreigner, he decided to bring her to the Overlord's Castle. Baalkiren notices Aina, an Aquamaiden one of the few to still exist since the last "Collapse", he takes Aina in as a new addition to the Overlord's Harem. From here, Aina's new adventures begin with her new family. As Aina opens up to the other girls in the harem, she able to heal her heart of the loss of her sister.

Aina is the tenth addition to the Overlord's Harem who is the only girl who can read and write at all. Though her reading and writing skills are that of a fifth grader, it still clearly communicates that she's had more experience with Hellian civilization than any of the other girls in the harem. Aina is what some may call opportunistic, she's usually thinking about things she can find to sell and often is doing research about rumors going around. Good at tinkering with things, Aina helps Kyu maintain the weapons, armor and tools in the Overlord's Castle while also being able to appraise their quality. Aina is supposedly secretly working on a way to rebuild her amphibious stand to one day continue her adventures except with a new purpose. Bibi in particular wants to join Aina in her adventures in the Materan Oceans one day.
