Description This piece was done as my half of an art trade with someone who is unfortunately nowhere to be found on DA! So thats kind of a shame. It's her GNG (Ginga) ninja dog character, flying around up in dem trees like someone form Naruto!
 Im still not to good when it somes to canine characters, or paws. The shading on the char was a little tricky, not sure im happy with it. I am extremely happy with how my background turned out tho!

well, I think it looks great! As for the paws: the front two look outstanding to me! The hind paws I think could use a little tweaking I think the right one (our view) should be a little thinner at the bottom, and the left one a little shorter on the toes. Dog paws don't have much touching the floor, besides the pads. 
Then again, I think he's leaning a lot on his left hind paw, right? Then it would make sense for it to be touching the branch so much, but then it should be a little more bent at the leg (I hope that makes sense )
other than that, I think it looks great I love how you captured his face and expression. It really reminds me of Ginga! Especially the Ninja dogs
And the shading looks just fine to me I like how certain patches on his fur are lighter, as if the light is shining through the leafs, like it would when you're among the trees ^^

Thanks for taking the time to give me some feed back! Really appreciate it. haha now that youve pointed out that back paw its really bugging me... And im glad that my attempt to make patches of light on the char were noticeable
