Goki - God of Azure Light, of Protection and Re-creation/Revival (2nd life) -- Protector of Enno Ozunu's aescetic disciples on Mount Oomine.One of the two divines faithfully serving Ozunu-sama in the past; he's level-headed, humble, caring, responsible and loyal to the extreme. His kind nature and boundless love for mankind were notable as he willingly became a part of the mortal world with a human wife and five children. Later reincarnated as a human being, he vows to protect the human race and the world until his last breath.
He's, no doubt, a noble guardian warrior.

It was his eyes & mysterious smile that drew me into his character >10 years ago. This is quite embarrassing but it's true.
The Anime artists have never matched Mr. Yoshihiro Kuroiwa in the portrayal of Goki.
