Aww man just as I expected T____T ... that stupid scanner ruined the entire picture D:Whoooo!!
The 200 th deviation! 
Practice color pencil picture.
So I got a huge set of color pencils (120 pieces 8D finest Faber Castell "POLYCHROMOS" artist's color pencils) some weeks ago and I wanted to check it out how it works xP
It's a bit difficult how to use though but this makes really fun
I start practicing with a character who's suitable for the test.
This is a lineless half body picture of ~SupaSilver 's character Ares the Hedgehog. For most I concentrate on coloring the right gray tones with a hue of blue. Yet I still have to fix with the fading black colors and I think some contrasts are needed. Overall it was challenging though but I had a lot of fun
Stupid scanner T____T ... ... normally the highlights and shades are much better on paper than on PC. But I managed to fix it a bit ^__^;

It's not that I drew my character at the first time you know ^^ I had some concept sketches of her former style. Till I came to this final look.
But a little style change for a special occasion I could do that. I also have an idea to give her another Style for Sonic Riders. Or even my character as knight ^^
Ah, by the way. Some people on DA type the name of my character by mistake "Scarlet". Actually her name is Starlet like a star

The pencils I used are artist's color pencils from Faber Castell. "POLYCHROMOS" is the brand exactly. These are pencils with oil based leads with a high light-fastness.
Of course I could use ordinary color pencils for a traditional art picture

they have these color pencils that have pure water color paint!!
all you have to do is color the image and use and dip the brush
in water and brush it on the paper.
