Hey fellow. I know that you're trying to speak German. But you can talk with me in English, too. I can understand that as well

Thank you very much
I know his uni-eye could be something really strange but I got used to it xP
Well, for some practices I created some bust shot sketches of characters from my friends. Or do you want to see more official stuff in this style?

Azurelly In reply to MoonGoneDark [2014-04-01 20:11:03 +0000 UTC]
Yeah there are some artists making drawings of official characters who look more realistic. There are rare to find but I found some drawing them quite well.

Ah, I know the artist. She creates great works of characters looking more realistic.
I also like characters who looks more realistic though but more into the comic direction. C-Puff (c-puff.deviantart.com) has some artworks I personally find very sweet to look at.

Yes, I got a bit inspired by her to draw Sonic characters in more Anthro style.

I see really intresting alot
This is a very intresting style to see , i really love the way you made his expression and him in this anthro style..
but dearie it's exactly called furry style , anthro's have smaller eyes and anthro's are made based on human body's
I love tough how this furry style looks , it's making him very intresting lookingΒ
this coloring looks amazing too , i really love the way you combinated cellshade with soft shade , it's giving it something special
and unique
as well neat job on the design
you did great!

Azurelly In reply to poolvosje [2014-03-25 13:49:27 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, you noticed this kind of shading I tried making not too contrasty
And I thought that this style belongs to Anthro ... guess I was totally in the wron -_____-;
Okay, I don't know what's the difference between Furry and Anthro style. I think it's the same
Often I heard that the term "Furry" is totally frowned upon from many insane Anthro loving people. For whatever reason may be.

Yess :3
I can see , it's absolutly beautifull , i love it , i admit that :3
Awww ;w; Β I am sorry *hides*
I called my furry style once anthro and then people came to tell me and explain all about it >U<
furry is more cartoonish and anthro more detailed and such
anthro is really human body in it and furry not.
;w;
furry is often used wrong as well yeaa..

Azurelly In reply to poolvosje [2014-03-25 14:08:52 +0000 UTC]
Hmm maybe I can use this kind of shading for a fake screenshot. I always wanted to make one c:
Well, I saw a little picture of an artist here where she explains - in her view - what's the difference between Anthro and Furry. Was very interesting.
I'm thinking that Anthro could be character with human and animal characteristics. But it tends more into animal.
While Furry tend to be more on human characteristics, regardless of whether it's more cartoon or not. Think about of Mickey Mouse. Is he more Anthro or more Furry?

poolvosje In reply to Azurelly [2014-03-25 14:10:28 +0000 UTC]
ah yes that would be very intresting
you could try that out
Aha I see so ^^
Yea , I know .
Mickey is furry , since his whole body isnt on the perfect sizes from a human one

Wow, that's getting confusing. I've never imagined that this category for character art has so many differences.

Azurelly In reply to poolvosje [2014-03-25 14:52:11 +0000 UTC]
Hmm, I didn't have modern art as toptic at school. We came till to expressionism and then we took lots of time for drawing our works. Oh we had graffiti art, too

Azurelly In reply to poolvosje [2014-03-25 15:04:17 +0000 UTC]
Surrealism, something like the works of Dali right? I find that's a really strange kind of art
Yeah, we just made a drawing on a big sheet of paper (mostly A3) and we started making an own graffiti. Mine was a Flower Power Graffiti
π: 0 β©: 1
poolvosje In reply to Azurelly [2014-03-25 15:06:19 +0000 UTC]
yea
the borders of the art there are uknown
bauhaus , kubism , futurism too
i find them all strange and hard to understand
aah i see ;w;
thats awesomeness
at my school at artclass i always need to do exactly what the teacher wants
π: 0 β©: 1
Azurelly In reply to poolvosje [2014-03-26 21:24:32 +0000 UTC]
Well, as I didn't have that many hours of art history I'd confuse some important art styles with anything else
Well, I know this at the upper school. The students in the art section needed to make a perfectly drawn art.
Before I attended the upper school we got from my teacher what topic we needed to do for our art and then we let our creativity free.
