Description
Aww man just as I expected T____T ... that stupid scanner ruined the entire picture D:Whoooo!!
Practice color pencil picture.
So I got a huge set of color pencils (120 pieces 8D finest Faber Castell "POLYCHROMOS" artist's color pencils) some weeks ago and I wanted to check it out how it works xP
It's a bit difficult how to use though but this makes really fun
I start practicing with a character who's suitable for the test.
This is a lineless half body picture of ~SupaSilver 's character Ares the Hedgehog. For most I concentrate on coloring the right gray tones with a hue of blue. Yet I still have to fix with the fading black colors and I think some contrasts are needed. Overall it was challenging though but I had a lot of fun
Stupid scanner T____T ... ... normally the highlights and shades are much better on paper than on PC. But I managed to fix it a bit ^__^;
Well, I hope you'll still like it Silver
Ares (C) ~SupaSilver
art (C) *EllyTheGee
Total Time: (without sketching) 4 hours 30 minutes
Colors I used:
- white
- black
- cold gray II to VI
- Payne's gray
- sky blue
- ivory
- cream
- dark Naples ochre
- burnt ochre
- light yellow ochre
- burnt umber
- cadmium yellow

Yes, the pencils are great ... but they were expensive POLYCHROMOS are good because they're smudge and waterproof.
Faber Castell offers lots of stuff for drawing of different styles. I heard about watercolor pencils. You can color the appropriate parts of the picture and then you use a wet brush and paint with the watercolor effect
Of course most usual color pens are water-soluble, too and I think they're a good alternative for watercolor painting C:

Ah, the letters. It's easy
just type on your comments this one: < sub > (without the spaces) to type small letters like this and < /sub > to undo

Haha, that's cool. You're very diligent ... like a bee
Well, I really don't care about the numbers within a time. I just do that. I'm very busy for important things but I keep drawing whenever I have time ^^

Ahm well ...
I met some deviants who uploaded tons of pictures within some months.
I never could draw that much because I don't have so much time for drawing
Please don't misunderstand this ... I'm just wondering that some people have so much free time for drawing

Okay ^^
I don't have so much time. I'm working at the art school until 4 PM, go home, eat my evening meal and have some time with my family. Every time I'm able to go online between 10 PM and 0:30 AM
