Many people have asked me about what kind of tools I use for my paintings and drawings. As a visual aid, I took a photo of all the tools I use, which include the recently bought mechanical pencils.The watercolor set is from my school days and is rather old.
Hope this helps some people, if they want to start drawing or painting.

Nice collection there, but I'm always advised never to use fixative for graphite because it yellows and can break and chip putting your work in danger of being damaged. Just passing the word along.

awesome, thanks for sharing, I stil need to experiment a bit more, I don't know when I'd use tortillons or H-5H pencils, do most things with HB 2B 4B and occasionally 6B

If someone wants to start drawing or painting just start. A ball point pen and a scrap piece of paper are all you really need to start. I spent years focusing on having the right materials thinking I needed this or I needed that to start. Its not the materials, its the work. Better materials will help YOU produce better results but you do not need anything to get started. I speak from years of excuses and procrastination. And I earn the PRO status in PROcrastination!!! LOL (stepping down from soap box.)
Having ranted without real cause, thank you for sharing the materials you use. It is always beneficial to see what someone who produces quality work is using.

Odds are the artist just doesn't want to waste them, and is using them until the bitter end.

Ich hab gerade ΓΌberlegt, wo man wohl ΓΌberall Pelikan-Sachen benutzt... ich glaub, ich hab noch nie drΓΌber nachgedacht aus welchem Lang du kommst(vielleicht hab ich's auch einfach nur wieder vergessen - wΓ€re normal bei mir^^), aber jetzt hab ich nachgeguckt... ich bin so dΓ€mlich
