Description
Many people have asked me about what kind of tools I use for my paintings and drawings. As a visual aid, I took a photo of all the tools I use, which include the recently bought mechanical pencils.The watercolor set is from my school days and is rather old.
Hope this helps some people, if they want to start drawing or painting.

Hi, I was really hoping you could help me, I used an eraser for smudging and shading before, but I've lost it, I got it from a gift shop in Italy so can't really go back. Was hoping you could give me some advice on what differnt erasers you can use for shading or for smudging effects, is that what a kneaded eraser is? I wouldn't ask but I'm desperate/ My laest sketch might give some indication as to what I used but I'm really not sure what it was called. i've been googling for nearly 2 hours

I got some from a site that supplies Faber-Castell. They do pretty good.

sind die Druckbleistifte denn empfehlenswerter als normale?
Meine Dozenten sind fast durchgehend gegen Druckbleistifte jeglicher Art aber ich mag die eigentlich ganz gerne..
echt schΓΆn zu sehen dass mit so "einfachen" Dingen so schΓΆne Bilder entstehen ^^

Why mechanical pencils AND traditionnal pencils then? Do you think one's more precise than the other?

I have found that mechanical pencils and traditional pencils have a totally different feel. On somethings I can draw better with a mechanical pencil; however, I tend to use traditional pencils for most if not all of my drawings.

There is nothing more intoxicating for an artist that to have all the material of drawing at his/her disposal that tempts me to have all this!!

i do think is a pencil sharpener meant to look like a coca cola film canister

Quick question, but how do you store your art pieces with out damaging it? I don't have the fixativ spray too, so its hard for me to preserve my pieces...

I've never seen erasers shaped like pens before! Do they give you more accuracy when erasing details? What would I ask for if I wanted to buy one in an art shop?

Yes, they give you more accuracy and are also really good if you want to show more contrast/highlight. In B-AGT's case, I think she uses them to give her hair highlights. Normally if you go to an art shop they should have so just ask the employees something like "pen eraser" and they will know immediately

Habe die gleichen Pelikan Wasserfarben, auch noch aus der Schule, aber ich habe sie schon seit Ewigkeiten nicht mehr genutzt. Echt erstaunlich wie schΓΆn du mit ihnen colorieren kannst.

mechanical pencils with specialized led sizes?! AW MAN I'm jealous! I can't find good quality sets like that ANYWHERE! (and 'm the type of person that'll only use regular pencils if I HAVE to, they hurt my hands :C )
