Description
Wait... what?She finally did it?
She submitted her tutorial which is actually finished since more than half a year? (I just had to put everything together... but I'm sooo lazy XD)
I DID IT!
And it was so much work! XD This thing here almost killed me. But I hope it can help you! >3<
I tried my best to explain everything x.x If you have got any questions feel free to ask.
OK I'M DONE XD
Thanks to and who helped me correcting mistakes XD
If you see any of them: I don't care XD (it was so much work!!!)
MEDIA USED: Faber Castel Polychromo Color Pencils
Character: Michiru Kaioh (c) Naoko Takeuchi
Bishojo Senshi Sailor Moon
Hope you like it
Mistakes I saw too late:
I wrote "grey" wrong... WTH. Three times! WHY?
Somewhere I wrote techniques wrong.
EDIT: OK thank you, some of you told me that both spellings gray and grey are right. XD THANKS <3

Sorry people! >.< This time I just don't manage to answer all comments ;3; I'd love to but there are too many of them! I read every single comment and appreciate it!
PS: If you want to buy some of that stuff, I'd recommend to search on amazon.com!

This is wonderful! I've always had issues with color pencils because they always make my drawings look like poop. (using prismacolor)

Colored pencils all work the same, no matter which brand you use
(there are some exceptions were the pencils don't work as well, but they still work lol)

can I ask how you upload the image. Do you just scan onto your computer and upload it on devianart? how do you get such nice quality for the image?

I ordered some of that paper on Amazon. It should arrive on Monday. Thanks for making this tutorial! I have a cheap Crayola light pad and some somewhat heavy-duty drawing paper---it doesn't show sketches very good, so I'm hoping this Copic Marker paper will show the sketch underneath better as well as be a good quality :3

Hey, I wanna ask you did you scan your drawing and edited it in a program? If you did, what program did you use because now the drawing is soo clean and shining XD I'd love to know

I edited it in Photoshop :3 But a lot of users use Gimp for it, it's free!

Very helpful, and beautiful job! I love how you drew the hair! A lot of artists say to do the lighter shades first when coloring, but I usually prefer to do the darker shades first. At least when it comes to traditional media.

What kind of paper is that? I know its copic, but is it a specific kind?
π: 0 β©: 1
YueYuki In reply to Twillight-Angel [2014-05-14 09:54:34 +0000 UTC]
Actually every information needed is mentioned in the tutorial. As far as I know Copic does only offer this kind of paper. But you can take any other marker paper you want anyway.
