…So. In my notebook there is literally written
‘20. a Savior’
a picture of Wally in his hoodie
with only his age written down (17)
and a name 'Impulse’ and nothing more.

…Like…That’s the same situation for every number in my notebook.
Just a title, age and a sketch. (+ eventually a pairing, but I don’t really put those in my AUs online. I just leave the pairings (or lack of pairings!) to your imagination most of the time~)
But yeah, as I was saying…
I always can figure out what me from the past was thinking when I look at the name and a sketch. But this time? I have no idea.
I have two scenes in my mind, that I remember were from this AU, but they don’t make any sense at all?
And I honestly almost didn’t even bother to make the picture, seeing as this AU is so far from having sense.
But I decided to post it anyway, and write out those two scenes for your pleasure and maybe you can figure out what the hell was I even thinking.

Number 21 is way cooler, I promise!

Onto the AU!

Superboy saw Robin falling off the edge of the roof.
It wasn’t even that high of a building - just two stories high- and normally Conner wouldn’t be worried, seeing as Robin was a ninja and was one of the most experienced of all of them.
But this wasn’t a usuall situation.
He was on the other end of the building, when he saw someone hitting Robin over the head from behind. He was not sure, if his teammate let his guard down or the guy just got a lucky shot, but there really wasn’t much time to ponder about that, seeing as ground was really close and his friend could be stunned or out cold right now and falling to his death.
He jumped and scaled the whole roof in one go, easily going over the edge and trying to catch his team mate, but to his surprize, Robin was way lower than he had anticipated. There was no way for Superboy to catch him and not break his spine at the same time.
He was left, falling few meters behind his friend, trying desperately to think of something, anything, that would allow him to save him.
And then suddenly air seemed to shift, and Robin was safe in some guy’s arms.
Conner fell to the ground seconds after that, making a crater and causing the guy stumble a little, clutching to Robin even tighter, careful not to drop him.
"Jeez! Careful, dude!" He said to the clone, and all Superboy could do was blink surprized.
Robin seemed to become more aware of what was going on around him.
"W-wally?" He murmured confused, and the guy holding him actually chuckled.
" We should totally stop meeting like this~" He sounded really cheerful as he carefully put Robin down and brought him over to Superboy.
Conner couldn’t help but to look at Robin, checking for any injuries. Except the bump on the head, he found none, but when he looked up, this…'Wally’ was gone.

The team was in some random big city, dressed in their civilian clothing and honestly, everyone except Robin had no idea what were they doing here.
They were supposed to be undercover and looking for information about some drug deal that was supposed to go down somewhere in the city.
Robin seemed to know what to do, and was walking toward more run down part of town.
They stopped in one of the alleys, and at the end of it, next to a dumpster were a few cardboard boxes aparently made into a little house?
There was a piece of paper on the front that said 'be back in 5’ but the team could see a pair of thin legs, very clearly sticking out of the side of the box contraption, accompanied with some quiet snoring that was heard.
M'gann noticed Robin’s amused smile, before he put his hands on his hips and loudly cleared his throat.
The snore stopped mid breath and they actually heard the guy in the boxes choke on his own spit a little.
He slowly crawled out of his…house?
Rubbing at his eyes, looking like he was just awakened from his afternoon nap…which he probably was.
He got more awake and happy the moment he saw Robin, though.
He actually walked over and hugged the boy wonder and the team could feel the stench coming off him.
Superboy immediatly recognized him as this 'Wally’ from few weeks back.
Robin told the red head about the mission that they were on, and he happily agreed to help.
He took out an old winter hat from his pocket, and put it over his head, and then took out a metal box from the inside of his jacket. Inside were four old cigarettes.
Rob gave him some cash and he went to the nearest kiosk, before coming back with three packets of cigarettes, taking four fags from each one and putting them in the box. The rest he hid in his other pockets.
The then brought the team over to some other alley, told them to stay out of sight, and started a conversation with some dangerous looking guys. They seemed to know him and were really happy to see him.
So he gave out the cigarettes he had, and they started 'gossiping’ and he actually got all the information, that the team needed in under 3 minutes.
He then bid his goodbyes to the thugs, and actually showed the team the exact warehouse in the docks and told them the exact day and hour that the deal will take place.
Then him and Robin hugged goodbye and the guy walked away, down the street, back to his little carboard house.
And the team could agree to one thing.
…Robin had some weird friends.
