oh yeah channels is really really helpful, it works best when cutting out hair and fuzzy things..

hehe you can try doing that, whenever you practice on your own, it's your work. might not be your idea but at least you learn from practice. and yeah give it your own twist. this one took me about a month to complete because i would only work on it after my work hours (so like 10pm - midnight everyday)

thank you! i've really got to give it up for that one shop that had a big-ass feather for sale. 2 1/2 feet of pink fluff. it helped out a lot in figuring out how to draw feathers. such tricky things they are

thanks so much sweetie. i love sharing how things are made by others. i think a lot of the influence came from this guy Aquasixio, who shows his tutorials a lot too. i learned a lot from him, indirectly of course. i don't think he knows i exist. haha. he's one of those DA gods..

Thanks. You make we want to go dig back into my "Grokking the Gimp" book. Gimp has all the same tools as PSP; the propblem is not the tool but my ignorance. Your demo gives me an example of how some of the more obscure ones fit it.

That's why I have the Gimp. Do all the same stuff for free. Granted the interface may not be as spiffy and intuitive as PS, but the power is all there.
