This is incredible! I never thought about using graphite and acrylic on the same canvas. Kudos on creativity! I adore how you did the hands! The red string pops out so well! This is truly an inspiration!

What do you mean by "wash"? Sorry, I'm just curious

Wash is like painting in watercolour. In terms of acrylic and oil, it’s painting in really transparent colours. You dilute the paint in water or mediums, paint in transparent and gradually build opacity thru layers and layers of transparent paint

Beautiful! The hands definitely work as the "face" -- there's so much expression in them. They look almost tentative and doubtful. They could either be manipulating the thread or tangled up in it.

What an arresting image...it's talking to me, but I don't know what language it's speaking

This is... so interesting.
Is there any sort of subliminal type of message you convey here, or is it just a cool idea?

thanks, if you find the idea "cool". As with the message, it's as surreal to me as it is with its viewers. There wasn't any definite direction when I started it, It's all from the guts. WHich I find, always the most fun, liberating and satisfying.

What a journey it has been...
Cheers

I definitely, definitely agree. That's how most of my drawings or paintings seem to come about, gut instinct. I applaud you!
