well here it is! a lot more work then you might think but it is true that since the illustrations are simple i'll be able to pump a Dave comic out pretty quickly.a thanks goes to Dragontrap for making a pretty coherent guide on making interactive comics (you can find the guide here. )
there is a link to the website at the end but you can also find it here anyways.
so yeah, chapter 2 is on the way, should see it next month. i'd rather not stuff journal entries into anyones mailbox about progress or meaningless stuff so if you want to follow dave, check out the site. but don't worry i'll still be posting the comics here.

ok i've finally got it how i like it. i wish i could just change the resolution of the final piece but flash isn't nearly so flexible.

i honestly thought about putting these 'features' in but i somehow talked myself into thinking they would harm the story some how... they will be implemented into future chapters.

hahaha, i had that in my mind for a while, it's definitely one of my favorite parts of the whole series. from here on things will get progressively deeper and less light-weight. it will change, but i think it will be good.

Hmmm....very thought provoking. My interpretation is that by wanting, you will only become sad. And when you do, only yourself will get in the way of having something. As a result, not wanting will only make you happier.
So an anti-materialistic message is what I'm getting out of it. Is there any chance that Anti-dave represents money?

Well, that makes a greater deal of sense than of anti-dave representing money. In the end, only yourself can get in the way of what you want (well at least in a capitalist economy).
