well here it is! a lot more work then you might think but it is true that since the illustrations are simple i'll be able to pump a Dave comic out pretty quickly.a thanks goes to Dragontrap for making a pretty coherent guide on making interactive comics (you can find the guide here. )
there is a link to the website at the end but you can also find it here anyways.
so yeah, chapter 2 is on the way, should see it next month. i'd rather not stuff journal entries into anyones mailbox about progress or meaningless stuff so if you want to follow dave, check out the site. but don't worry i'll still be posting the comics here.

ok i've finally got it how i like it. i wish i could just change the resolution of the final piece but flash isn't nearly so flexible.
anyways it's good now so, whatevs.

i honestly thought about putting these 'features' in but i somehow talked myself into thinking they would harm the story some how... they will be implemented into future chapters.

This is such a simple yet outstanding comic. The drawing is so clean that it makes your imagination work as hard as possible and it doesn't disturb the story going on in that all of nothing

i'm kind of anal when it comes to clean drawings, every time i draw dave i have to fix him in about 50 different ways, so that his head is round, his eyes are perfect.
