I haven't read them all, but what I read underlines the images I have for these short-sighted people! But the image does what it has to, it triggers emotions and that is exactly what I was after!

I love this. A seedy pregnancy shot? So much better than anything I'm used to seeing, this would give me a lot of inspiration if I was pregnant.
I find the hate on this shot hilarious, quite frankly. You have a pregnant woman who's very late in her pregnancy up and "playing pool" half naked, and the worst message this is sending is the cigarette she isn't even smoking? It's a brilliant theme, not a lifestyle suggestion.

You get it! Thank you! A couple of things I had in mind making this series; it had to something different that usual Anne Geddesque-images and it had to evoke (strong?) emotions. I think I succeeded in both! And the model doesn't smoke, at all...

How many times can people say, "The smoke is PHOTOSHOPPED, she's not actually smoking," before you get it?! And for the people who know this but still call the picture a "bad influence", I'll say this... If some chick is going to look at this picture and think "oh she looks so cool while she's SMOKING while PREGNANT, so I'm gonna do it now!", they were an idiot before and the picture had NOTHING to do with it.
As for picture itself, I love it. There's something wonderfully dark and atmospheric about it. Also, you don't see pregnant ladies as models to often, so this is also cool
