just create.. don't let people sculpt a specific means to it. if you want to do it a certain way, regardless of how you believe it will turn out, do it. hit your paper. beat it. tear it. bite it. if you think spit is what you need to mix that red charcoal with the page to get just the dissolve you need, do it. i don't know. i need to be raw and aggresive with my work, i throw a lot of myself into it, which i think tires me, but it creates something i feel i've left part of me with. i guess everything i create, to that effect, is a portrait. it's always suggesting something, no matter how small, about me, or regarding something i'm feeling. i hope that has lit a flame

Gorgeous macabre writing, and what a wonderful brilliance there is in the way it relates to the image! The posture is perfect, and the cold stare he is giving brings a chill to my spine. The chaos and movement of this piece are well balanced with the blank space, and I just need to say it is so wonderful what you have done here.
