Description
This personal project of a space station interior model I did in my free time to improve my skills in hard surface modelling, lighting and shading. The model consits of a fully equipped room of a space vessel. I wanted to create a sci-fi interiror design, not too futuristic, but in a retro style of science-ficiton movies of the 70's and early 80's. All the objects in the scene are modelled, unwrapped, textured and shaded in 3ds Max by myself. For the cloth parts I used Marvelous Designer to simulate the fabric parts realistic. The light setup is based on Vray lights and photometric IES lights. The final shots were rendered with Vray. The postproduction is done in Photoshop.

This is absolutely incredible! I can see a lot of hard work and time went into this, and the result is beautiful. It's really nice to also get to see how the raw model looks without the texturing. If it's okay to ask, how long did you spend modelling this? It looks ridiculously good. You are a 3D ninja master!
