The texture of the ground makes the picture so much more interesting, and not many people have the courage and dignity to take a photo of a leaf, i love it.

amazing shadow and i love that we can really see every last bit of texture in this. i like the warm colors and lighting. the "pose" of the leaf is powerful. it seems to be pulling itself away from the earth, struggling for a last few minutes of life. it seems to parallel the concept of indian summer... a last heat wave before succumbing to the cold.

You see this in a beautiful perspective. I saw it somewhat the same..but differently.
I think everyone'll see this differently, and that's what I liked about it
