what kind of camera do you have? i'm thinking of buying some type of SLR. any recomendations?

I actually don't have an SLR...but I have a nikon coolpix 7900..it's just this close because I shoved the little lens of my camera into the lens for my film camera

but I'd recommend Canon if you're looking for a digital SLR...possibly Nikon too. I've heard good things about the Canon Rebel XT (that's the one I'm thinking about buying)
Hopefully that's a little helpful..I'd say to just read up on various ones to find what you're looking for

well, the little lens on my digital fits inside of the lens for my film camera...
So if you set both of them to macro, it just magnifies thing amazingly

I had the aid of another lens that my camera fit inside (since I can't take off its lens) so the macro power was at least doubled. It was cool
