Description I'm this moth's mom.

I 'raised' it from a caterpillar...after it's two almost successful escape attempts (it took me nearly a half an hour looking in my room trying to find it...it's container didn't have a cover yet)

Then it turned itself into a cocoon so I knew for sure it would be a moth and not a butterly.

*wait a few weeks*

It comes out, onto my finger, and doesn't get off until I FORCE it off. I like these kind of moths. They're prettier than what most people think of moths.

yup. So I was it's mom. It probably thought I was a big monster and was glad I let it go

lol, cute story. It looks more like a croosbread between a normal moth and a butterfly. The wings are bigger then what i usualy see, not that i take the time to study moths or anything... because i don't.
The slight border adds a nice touch.

>>>It probably thought I was a big monster and was glad I let it go <<< lmao I wish I knew how to do that, raise caterpillers and stuff. What a way to get good pictures eh?

Hahaha...raise caterpillars? I just found one on the side of my house and put it in a glass jar with a cover and air holes and some grass or leaves or something. Make sure there's a tall stick that goes up to the top of the jar though...that's where they go to make there cocoon or whatever. Eventually it realizes it can't get out and makes it's cocoon or crysalist (wtf? I don't know how to spell it.)

So I'm sure you can do it
