This is one of the most beautiful, mysterious pictures I've ever seen. You've captured the moment so well, and I just love how it's so... out of place, just like your title says. It's beautiful, you should be extremely proud of this piece.

heh, me too. But the photo means a lot to me, and the opportunity to shoot it came up at the perfect time, sadly though (since it involved one of my fish dying...). But with the happenings in my life, it made sense

wow! that is out of place.... and rather freaky really. i just LOVE it. is that thing still alive? b/c it looks like it... what with the nice moisture you've captured so well in this shot. the colors are just great and i love the bits of stuff clinging to the face. the blank bg serves this well, making the composition a work of focus and placement, both of which you've done rather well. your focus makes the eyes go straight to the eye of the fish.... and i found myself locked in a staring contest i could never win. chilling and excellent.

thank you so much. So much. No, it wasn't alive, I could never do that to a fish. It died rather suddenly...I just got it like a week ago...I'm not sure why it died either, because I've had the rest of my fish for a long time, and only a couple died (one had a disease before I got it that I didn't kwo about, and a different one got itself stuck somewhere and couldnt get any air). But anyhoo, thanks for commenting
