They were the result of too much time alone in my room.
Plus an old cd, some lights, a crystal ball, and some water.

This is gorgeous. I think it's one of the best abstract photos I've seen in a while.

Very interesting photo, I like the selective focus. The white highlight looks somewhat distractive, but there isn't much that could be done about it. I think the composition would be improved if you cropped this into a landscape oriented (horizontal) picture, as the bottom part is not all that interesting and some of the top could go as well.
You should take a look at =patu- 's gallery, he has some similar photos that are just great.
