I think this'll be put into a series. I'll be deciding in like ten minutes. heh.Enjoy.
Just trying to portray the feelings of being an insomniac. Plus the fact that it gives you a LOT of time to do things. haha.

I don't know what I'm supposed to think with this. The lighting is good, and technically speaking, the entire picture is good, but it makes me very uneasy... probably due to the fact that the die looks like an eyeball.

it's supposed to portray the feeling of extreme or extended insomnia (as the title implies somewhat). It's supposed to make you feel uneasy, so I'm glad you said it did

i guess this one is underrated because alot of ppl just
dont understand it..
they will think its just a dice with a screw on top of it..
but i think i figured out why you posted this, and why
it has the name, The insomniac...
it would had been a little better if it stood out more
with some extra lighting, and a higher contrast, but
that is just a personal idea ofcourse

If I reshoot this I could try extra lighting...when I took it I was in a fairly dark room (well, really dark..) so light didn't really stand out

I like this, I have sleep problems myself and I see how it relates to insomnia...I like how it isnt in the middle of the picture andhow the background is so blurry and almost reminiscent of staying up too late alone(I dont know how but it feels like it to me) anyways good job
