Description
This guy was a fighter. I was cleaning out my old fishtank in my tub, then I see this spider on the side. I don't like spiders. So I take the shower head and wash it down the drain. Then I continue for about a minute of continuous running water..all going down the drain. I came back to actually GO to the bathroom a while later, and this is what I find. The spider somehow made it back of the drain and halfway down the tub before locking itself in this droplet. So naturally I whipped out my camera.
enjoy.

I love spiders, but DUDE, drowning in a pool of water you could probably stick your hand out of would suck. Great photo, btw. ^^~

Neat shot! A lot of spiders and insects can deal with water over long periods of time. With ants I know that they can survive several hours under water. I sort of like spider but I would not touch wild ones.

Awesome picture...
The image reminds me of how an insect caught in amber looks.

That's quite cool, poor spider, yucky, but you ahve to admire it's spirit.

Woah That's one determined spider! How big is it? I'm assuming it's fairly small as in a water droplet, but was it like under 2cm?

Eeek, now I'll know better than to just assume that if a spider is washed down the drain, it's gone for good! I try not to kill them anyway. But I'm sure to avoid the room that it is in and make someone else put it outside. Awesome shot
