Description
So this is my third mechanical Flash/Memory key & probably, in my opinion, my most successful so far.It has however taken an age to finish (approx 10-12 hours) mainly due to the detail and having to harvest the pieces from the watches myself - I think I probably used parts from around 6 different pocket watches (from brand new ones to watches over 100 years old). The key is made out of purple heart & has approximately 26 Ruby's which look great when the key catches the light, & when the Keys plugged into a USB, it glows green from underneath the gears giving the key a good sense of movement.
Please note the gears on this key do not actually move.
This piece has sold but I have others available in my shop or can be ordered on commission.

So... roughly, how many digits does the price for this have?

I would probably be a bit worried about dust and dirt that is definitely gonna pile between the wheels
Yet it's beautifully designed, that's for sure

Hello, my name is Micki and I'm making a picture-film for the Technical Museum of Stockholm, Sweden as they're having a steampunk exhibition.
I wonder if I may borrow this image.
Also, the film will NOT be uploaded to the internet, so if you'd like to see the finished result I'll need your e-mail adress. Also, your name will be shown at the end of the film, so I'll need your name and where you come from in that case!
Let me know if you approve (or don't!) soon!
Thanks!

Hi Micki!
Your welcome to use my image - I can even supply a higher resolution image if it would help you? I would love to see a copy of the final film (if its not too much trouble?). I've sent you a note with a copy of this message including my personal information...
Thanks again, Rob

I hope you don't mind, but I've used this as research for my College project 'Mechanical Forms', for which I think steampunk stuff like this would be great research!
