Description
One of my older projects here. This Thomas clock movement is entirely made out of wood (Mahogany, Maple & Oak) and does actually work! Every tooth on every cog was hand cut on my scroll saw. The movement held time relatively well, and as a prototype, I am very happy. The next version is going to be something really special though... So keep your eye's out!If you like my work, why not join my Facebook here [link]

Very cool.
You should try to make one more but a lot smaller. It should not be as hard since you done it once.

Did you work to a plan, or design it from scratch ? Even working from a plan, that's an incredible acheivement

you could house it in glass or plexi-glass so that it's not ruined by dust or humidity etc
