This is very cool. It also appeals to two of my great interests woodwork and timepiece making, not that I've done the latter... I will someday.

wow!!! great skills! i'm really loving this piece, since at the moment i'm making artwork that has influences from clock movements! it's also interested me in horology, but i ain't no physicist

That is the most beautiful clock I've ever seen. Sad to hear about the damage done to it (read about it in the previous comments). Must've been heart-breaking...

You Can! Not only do I have several different physical disabilities/disadvantages, but I'm entirely self trained - I haven't got a single qualification to my name! If I can do it, ANYONE can, As long as you know what you want to achieve you'll get there!

Although I hadn't completely it, it did work and held time really quite accurately. However, before I got chance to complete it, it got irreparably damaged in last years flooding
So, hopefully soon there will be an even better Mk II version going into production.
