i mean are you trying to silk screen your own shirts or just get shirts with your designs on them?
silk screening is relatively doable with practice and the materials, from what i understand. most people i know use shared silk screening gear at art collectives and stuff like that, though.
if you're just trying to get your art on some shirts, i think Spreadshirt is a pretty good t-shirt service. you can just upload your art, set your commission to $0, and buy your own designs.
