Had to design a book cover for The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde as an extra credit assignment for English. I'm sort of proud of this, because usually I suck badly with charcoal. Oh, Hyde's supposed to be a shadow, by the way, but I got lazy.Related content

Many people seem to forget that Stevenson describes Hyde to be "short". This makes me happy in the fact that Hyde is shorter than most interpretations. It also brings me joy that they look like completely different people, yet somehow the same. Whether those were your intentions matters not. What does matter is that you've portrayed them correctly. An feature which people seem to forget.

This is an astounding piece. You really captured the contrast and the duality. Your interpretations of the two work perfectly with your command over charcoal (which I envy, by the way!) I absolutely love it!
