Done fer an art trade with an offsite pal! (it also doubles as a a fill on the Disnye Kink meme on lj: [link] we both chose a prompt for the target of our trade). She wanted humanizations and I chose Grace, Maggie, Mrs. Calloway, and Buck from Home on the Range 'cause the Old West is awesomeee <3

I think Buck was the most difficult, though I'd say Maggie's colors kind of ran away from me a little xP

But yes:

Mrs. Calloway: She's been employed by Pearl for years to handle all the business matters concerning the farm, as well as ensuring that all the farm hands get their work done and things go along smoothly! She's prim and proper and doesn't tolerate misconduct, but she's a sweet lady when you get to know her.

Grace: She's Mrs. Calloway's second in command and is being trained to take over her job one day. She's a little ditzy and scattered-brained, but she's incredible at keeping calm in a stressful work environment.

Maggie: An ex-Saloon girl; shamelessly loud and boisterous, she's rough and tough from years of bar fights and work in the entertainment business. She's renting a room on Pearl's farm, because she's left show business for reasons unknown, and she get son Mrs. Calloway's nerves often, them being polar opposites.

Buck: A wanna-be hero and an aspiring sheriff, he brims with confidence and he can talk for hour son end about all the high speed chases he'll be in one day, hopefully alongside his idol, Rico the Bounty Hunter. Visits the farm often to chat with Grace, who's one of the few people patient enough to listen to him rant and offer meaningful feedback. Fiercely sun-tanned from hours in the hot desert, practicing his 'moves'.
