I don't think so

BATB happens in 1789, TLM 1889, I think Snow White is more in line with Pinocchio they have an 1500's vibe about 1525 maybe, not to mention the blue fairy looks like a blonde Snow White.

Yes i know the original can be anywhere. Those times I gave are times the film suggests or were directly mentioned in the film or behind the scenes stuff from those who worked on the film. Snow White is clearly set in the 1500's and TLM in the 1890's based the clothing. Disney confirms the time they set their version in very subtly but clues are there. Checkout Schmoolah's historic Disney Princess series, clothing tells you a lot about the time period. You'd be surprised about how much the clothes tell you about the time period. She does the research on the films and this is what she's come up with if the time period wasn't mentioned. Also Pinocchio's default outfit looks something like a boy version of Snow White's further suggesting around the same time as Snow White.

Oh, YES; you're TELLING me?! I'm actually writing a story with Pinoke as Snow White- the dwarfs are themselves, but Jiminy Cricket is the prince (next to FireWood, I also HEART Jiminy Cricket x Pinocchio AKA WoodWhistle)!

They'd be great friends and could make amazing puppet shows (wonderland was made up after all). In the original story Pinoke does end up with someone similar to Alice, i think he needs someone to keep him in line and Alice needs someone to make her not be so serious all the time this is why i'm a wonderwood, opposites attract after all.

(SIGH) Never mind. And he never ended up with someone in the original story; I think that you're remembering some kind of movie version, SMAT.

Yes, he kinda-sorta DOES need that; he's a sweet boy, and people take advantage of that (GRR!!). THAT's probably part of why I like him with older guys such as Lampwick, Jiminy, or even Jack Frost.

The more i think about it, it was a movie version, it's been forever since I read the book. A Christmas movie version the Rankin/Bass one to be precise. Julietta looks a lot like Alice just has a pink dress instead of blue. Oh well.
