Description this photo was taken for a collaborative event/exhibition that took place throughout the month of November. the theme of the event was Momento Mori.. death basically, and all was organized by Scaremongering.net . All took place in an abandoned and old house which we modified the way we wanted to by painting and spraying on walls and decorating it the way we wanted to, always keeping with the theme.

anyways

model in the photo is my sister.. pictures in the background are photos of dead people

quite a dark photo.. something different.. well i hope you like it.. you can view more photos of the event on here

the grain in the photo was intended

Should have been black and white, would have made Diane Arbus proud . Great concept though.

I liked this one best
That's a pretty dress she has. Are those Greek patience beads she has in her pocket?

The concept behind this is great, and the execution is top notch too. I really like how you've dressed up your sister in one of those 50s-60s style dresses, the kind that kids used to wear on special occasions... eg funerals. The contrast between the broody background and the joy and youth of her works really well.

I simply love this!
Such a beautiful image, yet I see so much emotion in this... to me it epitamizes hope, that even when surrounded by death and despair we will still trudge on and can still find a reason to smile.

Beautifully done!
