This is an aspect of The Call that I don't think I've seen. Β I love the portrayal of ol' Tentacle Face you'v developed here, as well as the patterns, textures, and subtle colors. Β

Very well done. Has a sort of Hinduism/Buddhism type feel.

I think I'm loosing my sanity just looking at this....
Excellent Cthulhu rendition....Much more otherworldly & imaginative rather than the usual giant man with octopus head & bat wings.
Oh yeah, the obligatory:
'Phn'glui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wagh'nagl fhtagn'!

that was my intent going outside the box, and create something different from the usual, glad you liked it.

Most awesome Cthullu I think I've ever seen.
More frightening than the "classic" interpretation.

Kama-Sutra Cthulhu or is it Krishna Cthulhu? Nice work by the way.

Thank you very much, when i decided to do a take on Cthulhu i wanted to go far away from the usual without loosing is essence.

Though I also started out with very literal interpretations, over time I have changed my preference towards ones that are more alien in design. For example, I doubt HPL literally meant that Cthulhu's head looks *exactly* like an octopus (like a bad photoshop job). If I were the narrator witnessing Cthulhu, I probably would have the luxury of carefully examining it- rather, I think it was a hastily constructed description because he was too consumed with horror.
