my heart wanted to be a paleontologist, but my body said, "no way in hell am i going to the Badlands!" for all the kids like me there was the dinotopia series.this is an odd thing which makes it a poor homage. essentially, no such dinosaur exists that looks like this one.

I actually studied Paleontology for two years before switching out to Biology - waaaay too many geology courses for me. I'd much rather just be a Dinotopian. This is a fantastic drawing!

Your dinosaur is near to a female Parasaurolophus, which are suggested to have smaller heads. The proportions are a little bit different, but the picture is epic

its got a parasarolophus head...so kinda it existed the only thing that makes it dissimilar to one is its back is too slender.. otherwise youd have my favorite dino<3

Oh I wish I could live in Dinotopia!!!!!! Great drawing! It's really hard to draw dinotopians on their dinosaurs, I've tried, but I agree with others who have said, you should totes color it

Wow, how beautiful... Y'know, I used to think that I could run away to Dinotopia whenever I got mad at my parents? I'd forgotten about that, actually, but your sketch has reminded me why I wanted to go there. Lovely poses and expressions, both saurian and human. ~And~ you've proven that you don't need fancy paint programs or even color to get professional-looking, elegant, clean, wonderful results! Gorgeous.

I've been to the Badlands, they're actually not bad! The hiking is kinda hot...but it's awesome to dig up fossils! ^^

i actually did do a foray into coloring the hadrosaur with the same color markings as a Mandarin duck. i'll finish it eventually (possibly after i redo the pose). ^^

The lot of us should start a Dinotopia fan site, all the ones i find have been inactive since 05 or earlier. even the official site is iffy on updates. If I build it will you all join? You would all be Mods, or the Cannon of your choice if you don't wanna create an OC. David scott is reserved, thats all.
