i was sitting outside with my Cory and he happened to notice a mouse sitting on the wooden path that ran behind the house....
there was something mildly off about this mouse as it was sitting out in the open, in plain view, to be seen by not only us but my cats as well. so Cory decided to see if there was something wrong with it, and rather than running away it let itself be picked up...
so i got the camera after i convinced myself i wasn't exploiting a helpless animal for the purpose of a few good shots >_<
either way, we called him Purgatory because we didn't know if he was going to live or die... he was just falling in and out of sleep...
he ended up sleeping in Cory's pocket for several hours until Cory took him out to see if he was ok. and that's when Purgatory hopped off his hand and ran away...
