Good morning people! Yesterday I told you I wouldn’t see new artwork for me for a while because of a school project.Well... after a hard day work I thought the concept art for this project (a 20 sec - 1 min animation) looks actually promising enough to show out here.
It's going to be an animation about a man with a rather large suitcase who annoys the other people waiting by wanting to stand close. The annoyance stops however, when it starts to rain really hard and the man hold the suitcase up above his head. Comments, remarks, questions, suggestions, please! All feedback will make the final product that much better.

I like the idea because it's reality.
It's hapenned often to me to carry big stuff by bus.
I remember that at school I used to carry a turntable
and fifty vinyl disqs for the school radio.
But my best was when i have gone jamming with a drummer
carrying a 18 inch speaker, a lamp head amplifier with no box,
and an electric guitar and the driver said to me :
"Is there a party here tonight ?"
And at the back of the bus there two guys with a guitar.
So you have more ideas now !

It's look like water color or pastel !
There was an impressive animation here in Canada,
at the Television, with animated water colors.
We were following a bird and everything was changing,
the trees, the clouds, the river, and the colors of it's wings.

i really look forward for the animation.. maybe you can paste url to it here? i would be really glad. cause im practicing animation myself also, how many fps do u use, around 12? and what programs? i draw in photoshop on different layers then i put all pictures (in bmp) togehter in a program called bmp2avi.. then i put all avi into adobe premiere.. but with that way i cant do cutouts to make those slidings, which is a bit bad. I really want to get into a animation school. im gonna try this year.

That's such a cute idea for a story! I feel bad for all the art students in my city who have to carry their portfolios on the bus - people don't seem to understand that art is _fragile_ >

Hehe. I like the story for it, first of all - the "rather large suitcase" is funny, and something that I've never really seen before. (So kudos for uniqueness and creativity and stuff!

I think it's a great idea, but you need to work on the briefcase. The way it is now it looks more like a portfolio for large drawings. The sky is once again lovely, that seems to be your specialty. The busstop and the people are really nicely done, very real-life like!

Back to this piece. THe story looks very amusing, light and entertaining. If the finished product will look like this piece, then I'd veyr much like to see it. This image is very funny in itself. You have the people standing there, some of them not noticing, and then some looking in wonder at that tall... lanky young man with... a HUGE SUITCASE, what on earth?! grmph.
20 sec- 1 min. shouldn't be too long, maybe you can upload a compressed video somewhere on the web for us to check out?

ah i love how the people waiting for the bus look so wonderfully normal! The guy holding the suitcase looks huge though compared to the other people! And i think the suitcase could be more detailed. It looks just like a big black square now.. But you did say this is just the concept. It was just a few things i noticed
